SEVERE EARTHQUAKE SHOCK.

One of the sharpest shocks of eai'thquake that has been experienced here for some time past aroused most of the people of Foxton about 1.45 yesterday morning. The main shock, which was preceded by a slight tremor, set crockery and glassware rattling, and for a few moments (it was quite a protracted quake), caused considerable alarm.
