' Wellington, Felt. 30 ; As p result of the repent arrests of bookmakers, p number of the fraternity appeared in Court this mornmgt charged' with betting on licensed premises. Henry James Whiles was 'fined .€4O and James Henry Rogers €2O. Rogers was also lined €lO fur laying totalisator odds. John Laidlaw Walling - , for keeping a common gaming house, was lined €SO, and Arthur 'Walling, for assisting in conducting the sayie, was fined £25.
