The parishioners of St. Mary’s Church will extend a public welcome to the Rev. Father Dore in the Town Hall this evening, at 8 o’clock, to mark the occasion of his resuming his duties as parish priest. Tho Mayor will preside, and the publics are cordially invited to he present. During Father Dore’s absence from the parish, his duties have been carried out by the Rev. Fathers Cronin and Corley. It is unnecessary for us to refer to the cause of Father Dore’s absence from the parish while acting as Chaplain-Captain to tho forces, of his gallant and horVic services at Gallipoli, where he was seriously wounded, and his long and painful illness. These facts are too well known, not only locally, hut throughout the Doiriinion, to need repetition. Ft. Mary’s parishioners are desirous that (he general public shall unite with them in according a whole-hearted welcome to their esteemed priest. The Mayor will preside, and a general invitation to the public is extended.
