BOWLING.
To-morrow afternoon five rinks from Feilding will pay a visit to Foxton. The visitors will arrive between half-past one and two o’clock, and play will commence punctually at two o’clock. Twenty-two members of the local club signified their desire to play against the visi-* tors, and at a meeting of the committee last night the following wore selected to fill the positions of skip and number threes: —Nye, Crawley, Woods, hf. 11. Walker, F. D. Whibley, E. Walker, D. Wbibley, , Mandl, Rimmcr and Large. The leads and number twos will be selected from the following on the ground: —Healey, Christie, P. G, Jackson, Rcay, Admore, Hcasman, Petrie, Gardes, Cronquest, Bryant, Stewart and ' Spring. The teams will be arranged at a quarter to two, and players must be on the ground by that time to ensure getting a game.
The following are the results of ladder games played last week: — D. Whibley 20 beat Rimmer 14, E. Jackson 31, beat Spring 8, Cronoiiest 19 beat E. Jackson 14.
