The total number of men received in the Cl Camp up to January 14th was 1,536. The men were classified on that date as follows: Transferred for home service Transferred to Reinforcements 630 Accepted for home service,., 36 Discharged as unfit ......... 486 Remaining in camp 384 1536 Of the 348 men remaining in camp on January 14th, 357 were classed as X, that* is, likely to prove fit foxtransfer to the Reinforcements. The classes in the Cl camp are X, Y, and Z. The figures indicate that the camp is producing about 60 per cent, of (it men from the Cl recruits who are selected for special training.
