RULES AND REGULATIONS. All Entries MUST be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Box 13, ioxton, with the name and age at the time of entry, name of owner,
pedigree, and the registered colours of the owner.
Entries by telegram MUSTbe confirmed in writing by the next mail. All colours must be registered, or a fine of 1 sov. will be imposed for every start.
All Races to be run under the Rules of Racing as adopted by the Racing Conference of New Zealand. The Committee reserve the right to alter the date or time for the declaration of nominations, weights, or acceptances, as they may think fit. When nominating, the NAME and ADDRESS of the Trainer MUST be given; also the NAME or ASSUMED NAME of the Owner, with his ADDRESS.
No horse will be weighed out for any race whose Entry Fees are unpaid.
PENALTIES
FLAT RACES.—The winner of any fiat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b., and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b. (excepting that the winner of any Hack Race shall carry a penalty of 71b., and of any additional Hack Race a further penalty of 51b. in any Open Race). Horses handicapped at Bst 101 b. or over to carryhalf of the above penalties. The winner of any Hurdle Race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b, in the Hurdle Race, and of any additional Hurdle Race a further penalty of 71b., or, if the Handieapper deems it fit, he may increase the penalties.
