The following are the results of the sports held at The local seaside on New Year’s Day:—

MaeLachlan 2, Osgood 3. 75yds handicap, under 16 years:Willie Walls 1, Noel Yortt 2. *7syds, under 14 years; R. Lawton 1, F. Yortt 2, McAvenue 3. 50yds, under 16: K. Glendinning 1, T. Stockwell 2, W. Slack 3. 50yds handicap, under 10 years; Alan Seifert 1, Noel Yortt 2, Basil Way 3. 50yds handicap, under 8 years: Clifton Turner 1, Jack Wood 2. Long jump, 14 and under; R. Lawton 1, D. McAvenue 2; 14 and over: K. Glendinning 1, MaeLachlan 2. High jump: K. Glendinning 1, C. Osgood 2. Girls’ Races. —50yds handicap, under 14 years: Muriel Henderson 1, Hazel Litchfield 2, Dorothy Torsion,sen 3. 100 yards handicap, under 10: Mavis Rogers 1, Hazel Litchfield 2, Muriel Henderson 3. 70 yds. handicap, under 12: Hazel Lichfield 1, Muriel Henderson 2, Violet Lawton 3. 50yds, 8 and under: Rita Linklater 1, Alice Noble 2, Muriel Dawick 3. Miscellaneous Events. —Threelegged race: Boys, J. Hartley 1, L. Shailer 2. Girjs, Mavis Rogers 1, Mavis Way 2. Wheelbarrow race: T. Stockwell and F. MaeLachlan 1, Fuller and Maddox 2. Cock fighting: D. Me Murray and A. Grant 1, Thompson and Robinson 2. Obstacle race: G. Hartley I, D, Me Murray 2, F. Lawton 3. Pillow light on bopra: S. Fuller 1, A. Grant; 2. Married women’s race: Mrs Laden 1, Mrs Boyle 2, Mrs Jones 3. There were several other forms of amusement on the beach, among which was donkey riding and a treasure hunt, both of which provided much fun for the young folk.'
The Bondi Commit tee wish to thank the following, who rendered valuable service in connection with the sports: —Mr A, Grant, for the use of a room for committee meetings and also for the use of a copper for iiot water; Mr Bailey, for use of water from his tank; Mr Hartley, for use of horse and dray (o cart wood for visitors; the Methodists, for the use of (he church as a shelter for visitors.
