BOWLING.

The triangular contest between the Shannon, Levin and Foxton Clubs will be concluded on the Foxton green on Wednesday afters noon, when four Foxton rinks will play two rinks each from Levin and Shannon. The following teams will represent FoxtonLarge, M. H. Walker, D. Whibley, Nye (s); Stewart, Barr, E. Walker, F. D, Whibley (s); Lumsden, Mandl, Crawley, Hawke (s); Healey, Bryant, McColl, Woods (s). In order to give the teams a little practice together, all players are asked to roll up on the green on Monday afternoon, at halfpast four, when Nye’s rink will play Whibley’s, and Hawke’s will play Woods’.

Whibley 11; Wardrop 33 v. Pickering 12; Rimiuer 21 v. Ransom 15; Hodgson 22 v. Hewat 14; Nash 26,v. Gunning 19; Pollock 19 v. Seifert 1(5. Ninth Round. —Worsfold 20 v. Ransom 15; Hodgson 24 v. Wardrop 13; Pickering 28 v. Whibley 22; Nicholson 21 v. Hewat 13; Rimmer 19 v. Seifert 17; Gunning 27 v. Young 16; Nash 27 v. Saywell 23; Laurenson 21 v. Pollock 18. Nash and Hodgson finished up the, tournament with eight wins each, and the final was played yesterday afternoon, when Hodgson defeated Nash by 17 points to 12. The game was a good one throughout, in the earlier part the scoring being very even, eight alt being registered at one stage. From this on, however, Hodgson was leading, eventually winning by five points. The learns were: —Jackson, Jackson, 11 ebb (substitute for Smith), Hodgson (s); Hancock, Tattersall, N. IT. Nash, J. A. Nash (s). .
