CHURCH SERVICES FOR SUNDAY.
The Salvation Army services will be: 7 a.m. knee drill, 11 a.m. Holiness Meeting, 3 p.m. Praise Meeting, 7 p.m. Salvation Meeting.
The services at the local Presbyterian Church to-morrow will he conducted at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. by Mr Smith.
A Golpel address will be given in the Masonic Hall, Liddell Street, at 7 p.m . to-morrow (Sunday). All are welcome.
The services in connection with the Methodist Church to-morrow will be as follow: —Foxton, 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., Rev. A, Harding. Shannon, 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., Mr Crawford. Oroua Downs, 2.30 p.m., Rev, A, Harding. Beach, 7 p.m., Mr Chry^tall. In,conjunction with the churches throughout the world, special services, at the request of His Majesty the King, will be held in All Saints’ Church to-morrow in connection with the war. The services will he as follow: 8 a.m. Holy Communion, 11 a.m. special Litany and Hoh Communion, 7 p.m. Prayers, Throughout the day prayers and intercessions suitable for the war will be offered, and appropriate hymns sung.
