AVAR TO BE DECLARED IMMEDIATELY.

President. AVilson Ims asked Congress ’(which has just opened) to declare war immediately on Austria ; hut no declaration against Turkey or Bulgaria is recommended.

The President states that he will not talk peace until Germany is thoroughly beaten. Peace can only come when Germany makes it through rulers that people can trust; ami full reparation will also he required of her.

“America will use all her resources,” said the President, “in men iind money to win the war. Nothing will divert ns from that purpose.” He condemned premature peace moves, and added: “Germany has done the world deep and abominable wrongs.” The Senate will he ready to declare war on Austria on Friday.

Senator Pittman has introduced a motion asking Congress to declare war on Austria, Bulgaria and Turkov.
