ANOTHER FIVE THOUSAND CALLED UP.
HARRIED MEN WITHOUT CHILDREN DRAWN UPON. A Gazette Extraordinary issued yesterday contains the names of 5,000 married men belonging to Class A of the Second Division (that is, married* men without children). An asterisk (*) denotes previously voluntary enlistment. The Gazette includes the names of men belonging to the First Division who have come of age or are otherwise eligible for service.
