BOWLING.
The attempts made yesterday afternoon by the Foxton bowlers to get possession of the Dixon and Alapson and Barr Cups were unsuccessful, both challenging teams being beaten fairly easily. The holders of the Dixon' Cup at Palmerston North won by nine points, and the Alanson and Barr Cup defenders at Feilding had a margin of 17 points to the good at the conclusion '""of the game.
