PALMERSTON SENSATION.

Alfred Coy walked to the Pal-i merston Police Station last night, and laid an information against his. wife, Martha Coy, of having injured him with a revolver shot. Coy had a bullet wound in his right cheek; and had lost a tooth and a consid-. erable quantity of blood. Dr Feach| was summoned, and ordered Coy tq be sent to the Hospital. The man’s story was that he had been to the races, and when he re-i turned to his home in. Ada Street, shortly after 10 o’clock, his wife, came out bn to the footpath. Aq altercation ensued, and, according to Coy, his wife tired a revolver shot at him at close range, with the re-: suit indicated, Mrs Coy was urs rested, and will appear before thq Magistrate this morning.—Times.
