EGGERS TAKEN TO GREY- . MOUTH. ■ Christchurch, Nov. 20. It is considered probable that the whole trial of William Frederick Eggers, charged Avith murder and' robbery at Runanga, Avill be heard at Greymouth, not at Christchurch. Greymouth, Nov. 20. The prisoner Eggers avus brought to Greymouth from Christchurch yesterday. At 8.30 this evening prisoner was to be taken to the hospital, Avhere William Hall’s depositions Avere taken. Prisoner, acting on the advice of his lawyer, did not proceed to the hospital. Eggars Avill come before the Court here at the end of the Aveek. Mr Hall seems slightly better tonight, hut there is little hope of recovery, as the loAver limbs are paralysed. A FURTHER REMAND. Greymouth, Yesterday. Eggers was further remanded till Tuesday next, on a charge-of having murdered John Coultlnml. Answering an application for a remand, prisoner asked to have the case gone on with a soon as possible, as he wanted to get it over.
