COATES TO STAND.

Greymouth, Nov. 7.

Public meetings called under the auspices of the Labour Representation Committee held at Blackball, Greymouth, and Runanga, passed resolutions requesting Mr P. C. Webb to stand again for the Grey seat.

A petition signed by the Mayor of Greymoutb, the chairmen of the Harbour Board, the Chamber of Commerce, the County Council, and the president of the Port Watersiders’ Union is in circulation, asking Mr T. B. Coates to stand to represent all classes, not one section, only.
