FLAXMILL STRIKE.
PROCEEDINGS BEING TAKEN. Proceedings are being taken by the Labour Department against the flaxmill employees at Messrs A. and L. Seifert’s mills who ceased work about a month ago. It will be remembered that the llaxraills award would have expired in a few days, but the men at two mills, in; stead of proceeding through the Arbitration Court and Conciliation Council for a new set of conditions, ceased work when the employers refused to accede to their demands.— Post,
