AN OPEN VERDICT.
Auckland, Nov. 5,
The body of Mary Cleiry, wife of Frederick Cleiry, labourer, of Panmure, was found in the Tamaki River. The evidence at the inquest showed that the deceased had been depressed owing to her inability, through illness, to care for a young baby. An open verdict was returned.
