SECOND DIVISION BALLOT.
5,000 CALLED UP,, The first ballot of members of the Second Division of the Expeditionary Force Reserve, Class A, married men without children, has been completed. The total number of men in Class A is 15,292, and of these 5,000 are drawn. The ballot and the result will-be announced by Government Gazette • on Tuesday, November 6th. In addition, 1,500 men, being accretions from the First Division, will be called up on the same occasion without the taking of a ballot. The Gazette next week will thus contain 6,400 names, being 1,500 accretions from the First Division and 5,000 married men without children. There will then be 10,292 men still left in Class A of the Second Division, which, it is estimated, will prove sufficient for another , two drafts.
