EMPLOYING UNENROLLED RESERVIST. •

Christchurch, Oct. 24,

In the Magistrate’s' Court to-day, Lennox Robert Wilson was charged with employing, a first division reservist who was not enrolled. Defendant pleaded ignorance of the man being not enrolled. The Magistrate said that it was the duty of employers to ascertain whether employees were enrolled. As it was the first case of the, kind in' this district he imposed the minimum fine of £2O.
