FINANCE ACT, 1917. jyfOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of PaTt 111 of the Finance Act, 1917, on and after the Ist day of November, 1917, the AMUSEMENTS-TAX* provided for in the Fifth Schedule of the said Act will become payable for admission to all entertainments within the meaning of the said Act at the rates specified in the said Fifth Schedule. “Entertainment” includes any exhibition, performance, amusement, game, or sport to which persons are admitted for payment. “Proprietor” in relation to any entertainment includes any person responsible for the management thereof.
