MILITARY SERVICE BOARD.
A LOCAL APPEAL. At the sitting of the Military Service Appeal Board at Palmerston yesterday, Samuel Henry Signal, engineer, Foxton, stated he was, married in June, 1915, and asked for extension of time to enable him to get work in hand settled. His firm, Ross and Signal, did amongst other things flax and farm machine repairs, and at present they were rushed with work. Appellant did most of the inside work, and his father and Mr Ross the outside. They had at present nine windmills to erect. To Captain Walker: They were at present hung up for material owing to shipping difficulties, and had only sufficient material in stock to finish throe windmills. This would take about a couple of weeks. Appeal dismissed, ioriVc -being granted Jill. November 14th.
