HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

A committee meeting of the above was held on Thursday night, for the purpose of fixing dates for the spring and autumn shows, and to arrange schedules for same. Air P. G. Jackson- (president) occupied the chair. Thursday and Friday, November 29th and 30th, were the dates fixed for the Spring Show, and Thursday and Friday, March 7th and Bth, for the Autumn Show. Last year’s catalogues, with a few slight amendments, were adopted. Accounts were passed for payment.

The balance-sheet of the recent Bull) Show was submitted; the receipts totalled £27 4s, and the expenditure £2O I-Is Sd, leaving a credit balance of £0 9s 4d.
