Samuel Chant, aged 41, labourer, was killed at AVaitahuna through a rock falling on him white rahhiting. Auckland, Sept, 24. Alfred Henry Hawkins, a-middle-aged man, while alighting from a train at Takapuna before the carriage slopped, fell, fracturing his skull, and died shortly afterwards. He leaves a widow and seven children.
