N.Z. AVIATION SCHOOLS.
FIFTY-ONE FLYING MEN TURNED OUT TO DATE.
Good work is being done by the two flying schools established in New Zealand in turning out aviators for the Royal Flying Corps. The Kohimarama, or Auckland School has now trained 42 pupils who have successfully passed the required test. Some of them have already served on the Western front, and have done exceedingly well. In Christchurch the Canterbury Aviation School, although only commenced a few mouths ago, lias now passed nine pupils, and expects, to turn out a great many more in future. The Canterbury School possesses admirable flying grounds and aviation premises, in addition to the services of an expert instructor from the Hendon School of Flying at Home. It is well provided with aeroplanes, and is now preparing to take more pupils.
