FOXTON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
Tho annual meeting of members of the nhove \v:is hold in iho ‘‘Herald'’ office last night. The president, Mr C. F. .Johnston, presided. The folhnving officers were unanimously elected: —President, Mr C. Symons; Patron, Mr F. Robinson; vieo-pntrons, Messrs 0. Robinson, F. S .Easton, A. Fraser, and C. Rand; auditor, Mr A. .1, Kellow; committee, Messrs Rev. Raine, May, Hartley and Ashmore; secretary and treasurer, Mr H. J, Claris; selection committee, Messrs Claris, Symons and C. Rand. Accounts amounting to £G Is were passed for payment. Mr Beveridge donated a trophy to be competed fox- during the year. The usual votes of thanks were passed, and after routine business had been discussed, the meeting rose.
