New Plymouth, Sept. 3, After meeting with many delays and difficulties, the directors of the New Zealand Iron Ore Smelting Co. are now confident of success, During the last eighteen hours the furnaces have been tapped seven times, and the conditions are improving all the time, assuring continuance, which hitherto has never been secured.
