THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT; The High Commissioner cabled as follows at noon yesterday: — Manila hemp: There is little business doing (mutilated word). The New Zealand market is affected by the uncertainly regarding Government control. It appeal's probable that prices will be established on the basis of Manila. New Zealand high point fair spot has been sold at auction at £OO, and common afloat at £BB.
