TO BE TAKEN OYER BY IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT.

Through the High Commissioner, the Prime Minister’ has received a cablegram from the Imperial Government in reply to Ills recent enquiry regarding butter. The Imperial authorities state that they are prepared to lake over the Dominion’s output of butter, in whole or in part. The next stop is for the Government to get into communication with the representatives of the producers, and to discuss the details. It is suggested that the price asked may be Is 4d per lb., f.o.b.
