QUIET WORKERS.

There come? a thought that somewhere in this turmoil, When all arc offering to do or dare, There may be work for those whose claims seem voiceless, The gentle work' of syinpalhy'aml prayer. The ones who own that precious gift s of silence, And patience to endure, which only pleads To stand aside and do the irksome duties, While others do the great and noble deeds. Let them take courage, for these quiet workers, Helpful and uncomplaining, play their part, Even if age or weakness mars their service, God sees the motive, and can read each heart.
