DEATH DUTY STOCK.
Wellington, Last Night. Sir Joseph Ward, speaking at the Commercial Travellers’ Club, said the application for death duty war stock would considerably exceed the £1,99!),099 allocated to this form of debenture. Allocations would he made to applicants in proportion to the amount of ordinary inscribed stock applied for. He ■would not lie surprised if the applications ajnonnl to three or four millions. No man would he allowed to sell death duly stock alone.
