HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.

A committee meeting of the above was held on Thursday night for the • purpose of appointing steAvards for the forthcoming Bulb Slioav, and general. Symons; F. Airs Harding; G and H. Mr Whihley; I, Mrs Renton ; J, Aliss AI. Pearson; door steAvards, Messrs Rev. Harding, Ashmore and Whibley; tea-room, Airs F. Procter; sweets stall, Aliss Woodroofe; competitions committee, the president and Messrs Chrystall, J. Ross and Claris. It was decided to ask the Band and Air Betty’s orchestra to assist Avifli a musical programme. Airs Constance Abraham, of Palmerston N., Avrole, consenting to officiate as one of the judges. Air Witched, of Otaki, wrote, asking for catalogues, Avitli a vlcav of securing some Otaki entries. Air J. Walls Avroto, consenting to officiate as judg'd in the children’s cookery class.
