FOUND DROWNED.

Blenheim, Yesterday. The decomposed body of a woman was found dn the beach at Ruakaka, Queen Charlotte Sound, on Friday last. It was identified at an inquest on Saturday as that of Alary Jane Grant, who had been employed, with her husband, James Grant, at Meadowbank Station. Deceased disappeared on 12th July, leaving a note saying, she was “getting out of it.” The jury found there was no evidence to prove how the deceased got into the water.
