CHLOROFORMERS SENTENCED.
Christchurch. Lest Night. AI Iho Supreme Court to-day, William Kenuaird and Robert Erwin Meachlem were sentenced to three years ’ imprisonment each on a charge of having, with intent to commit a crime, caused Andrew Rolo Cnihl and Enid Cuihl to lie affected hy chloroform in a local hotel. Both men had had ILls id; previous convictions, and Judge Denniston said they were dangerous characters.
