THIRTY-FIVE MILLIONS. The Imperial Supplies Department has paid out to producers, from the dates set against the items to 31st July, nearly £35,000,000, made up as follows: —Frozen meat, 3rd March, 1915, £17,0(50,00(1; cheese, 1915-10 season, £917,748; cheese, 1910-17 season, £3,020,904; wool, Ist December, 1910, £11,341,230; scheelite, 20th September, 1915, £78,359 usheepxskins, sth February, 1917, £255,940; hides, 19th March, 1917, £310,730; freezing companies’ slipe wool, 31st March, 1917, £1,114,547; other business; £238,488; grand total, £34,055,904.
