LAD DROWNED.
Wanganui, July 30. Frank Coles, eighteen, the son of Mr Frank Coles, senior'clerk, Chief Post Office, was drowned while crossing a swollen stream on William Connor’s property near the Wanganui river to-day. The body had not been recovered at a late hour to-night.
