ANNUAL MEETING. The above meeting was held in the Druids’ Hall on Saturday afternoon. There was a large attendance of shareholders, and Mr E. Law, chairman of directors, presided. The balance-sheet was read and adopted. There were hearty congratulations on the results attained on the year's working. In the remarks made by the chairman in moving the adoption of the balance-sheet, lie thanked the manager, secretary and staff for the good work done. Mr Ghrystall, in seconding the adoption, endorsed the remarks of the chairman. Votes of thanks were also passed to' the directors, and Mr Stiles congratulated the manager in winning for the company at the Palmerston North Show a valuable trophy given for merit in the manufacture of butter. Tiie election of two directors resulted in Messrs E. Law and IV. Burlier being re-elected. The question of cheese manufacture for the ensuing season was discussed, and it was practically resolved that the company take steps to immediately erect a chees factory. A hearty vote of thanks to the chair terminated a very successful meeting.
