MR. MASSEY WANTS SUGGESTIONS. A pointed question was put to the Prime Minister in the House a few days ago by Mr ■). Vigor Brown, member for Napier, regarding the abnormally high cost of living. Yesterday .Mr Massey replied as fol-lows:—-“In New Zealand, as in every oilier country of the Empire, the cost of living fas increased considerably since the war broke out. Tins unfortunately, is unavoidable, ns the cost of production has gone up enormously all over Ibe world. The Board of Trade has instructions jo do every!iiing possible’ to prevent, exploitation, and 1 shall he glad to receive feasible suggestions on the subject from any member of Iho Hoiist
