The Druids now accept members at the usual rates id.' contributions, hut will accept no liability for sick pay or funeral and insurance benelils’whilst such members are serving in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, If, however, new members, in addition to their usual contributions, pay in advance the sum of £5 l(i ltd per year, they are put on the same basis as members joining prior to the outbreak of war, i.e., entitled to ail benefits irrespective of ’whether they are members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces or not. The Grand Secretary of the North Island Grand Lodge was in attendance at last night's meeting, and addressed the brethren. lie wa.s accompanied by Bro. Jorgensen, of the Excelsior Lodge, Wellington.
