On Friday next Messrs Mounsey and Co. will conduct an unreserved clearing sale of household furniture and effects on behalf of Airs Hanlon. Full particulars are advertised. Collinson and Cunninghame, Ltd., Palmerston N., announce that they are holding a Bargain Week. All departments, such as drapery, furnishing, clothing, etc., will participate in the reductions. The Inspector of Weights and Measures, who is at present in this district, notifies that all persons in possession of unstamped weights or scales should lake them to tho Courthouse for stamping, otherwise they are liable to prosecution. Millar and Giorgi, Palmerston N., announce in their space to-day the final days of their Gigantic .Midwinter Clearance. This sale positively ends on Saturday, July 21st. There are still hosts of bargains to ho had and readers are advised to investigate their requirements before the sale closes.
