STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER. Sir James Allen stated yesterday that it had been decided that there should be no further voluntary enlistments. citvier of reservists in the First or the Second Division. The only voluntary recruits "accepted ■will be the young' men who reach the age of twenty years after this date, for whonnspecial provision is made in the Act.
