TO HELP THE Y.M.C.A. WAR FUNDS.
The takings at the local Patriotic Shop on Saturday next are to ho donated to the Y.iM.C.A. War Fund. This is Foxton’s first effort on behalf of this world-famous organisation, which has done, and is doing, so much for our soldier hoys in England, France, Egypt, and, in fact, in every part of the British Empire. Their institutions are to he found on every military training ground, and even in (he rear of tho tiring line. The work of the organisation must appeal to every one, and we hope the local Patriotic Society’s appeal on this behalf will result in a record response.
