RACING REDUCTION.

EIGHT DAYS CUT OUT. IX WANGANUI RACING DISTRICT. In pursuance of the Government’s decision in cut down racing by onethird. a committee representing the Wanganui Metropolitan Club (which governs 'lns district) and (he district «dul>s met at Wanganui on Wednesday. Those presen( were: Messrs I*l. A, Cumphell (chairma'ii), W. A. Duncan. A. Higgle, Gilford Marshall and John Watt (representing the Wanganui Club),and Messrs E. Goodbeliere, J, 11. Uerrett, J. M. Jolmsiun and J. Goring .Johnston (representing the district clubs). Mr 11. 1C Cooper was unable lo be present, and through the courtesy of iiie oilier members, Air Goring Johnston look' his place. Tile following reductions were agrecd upon: —
