Wellington, June 11. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day, John James Lawless was convicted for making a seditious utterance iifc Boulcott street on Saturday night, also for assaulting the police and resisting the police. On the sedition charge he received three months’ imprisonment, for resisting he was fined 20s, and for assault was coih victed and discharged. _ w
