BILLIARDS.

The exhibition given by George Gray, the world’s champion billiard player, at Wanklyn’s billiard saloon on Thursday night, was attended by a fair number of enthusiasts. The champion first played a game of 500 against Mr E. Wanklyn, to whom he conceded 250. The champion's best break was 85 off the red. The champion was repeatedly applauded for his exhibition of scoring from seemingly impossible positions. Tie also played a game of snooker against the same player, and finished by giving an exhibition of shots and cannons, for which he was loudly applauded.
