The objects which I he Bill is intended to effect are: — To constitute the Eoxlon Harbour District; to appoint an additional member of the Board representing the Kairanga County; to enable His Majesty to transfer and the above Board to acquire certain lands and assets being the Railway Wharf and other parts of the toreshore at Eoxlon; to enable the Board to acquire a dredge; to effect genera! harbour works tor (lie improvement and management ol the Eoxlon Harbour: to borrow moneys not exceeding .(.Ki.OOl); to provide for the raising of such loan, the payment of interest thereon, and redemption thereof; to enable the Board to levy a differential rate within (he Eoxlon Harbour District as therein set out, and fixing the maximum of such rate.
