DRIVER S ENTERTAINMENT.
There was a large and appreciative audience in the Town Hall last night to witness Driver's entertainment. It is about eight years ago since this ‘ talented illusionist and magician gave* a performance in Eoxtoii, and he has not lost any of his dash. His - cabinet tricks were clever, amusing and mystifying. He demonstrated by trickery what spiritualistic mediums claim to do by supernatural power. While the performance is proceeding lie cheerfully nilm it in to spiritualistic mediums. His exhibitions of table turning, siate writing, materialisation id' spirits, elm, demonstrated how susceptible people can be deceived, glided and plucked by charlatans. Driver, by clever trickery, brings into ridicule spiritualistic manifestations. His sleigbt-of-liand wort: He., were cleverly given. The entertainment was bright and clever from start (o finish, ami thoroughly enjoyed by all present.
