LOCAL SEASIDE RESORT.

MEETING OF IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE,

The Eoxton Beach Improvement Committee held their first meeting last week. The Secretary, Mr E. Pratt, reported that he had received several donations of money, also one of £5 worth of trees, which are to be planted this month at the Reach. Mr Langley was elected chairman of the committee. It was decided to build three bathing machines for the coming season. This, together with tree planting, will be as much as funds will permit to be doin'. It is hoped the Foxlon people will assist the work, and endeavour to make the Reach what it should be, i.e., one of the finest seaside resorts in (he Dominion.
