MASONIC.
The installation of Bro. .J. Stevenson as W.M, and investiture of ollieers of the local Masonic Lodge tnol< place yesterday afternoon. Visiting brethren were present from sisler lodges. It. Wor. Bro. J. A. Nash w;is the Installing Master, and Vor. Bro. ilornhlow Bireetor of Ceremonies. The following ollieers were invested: W.M., Bro. J. W. Stevenson; 1.P.M., Wor. Bro. H. J, Berry; S.W., Bro. J. (}, Speir.s (absent in camp 1 ; J.W., Bro. S. E. Cowley; Chaplain, Wor, Bro. J. H. Bredin: Secretary, Bro. A. E. Wainwright; Treasurer, Wor. Bro. Healey; S.D., Bro. W. Kenton, J. 1)., Bro. J. M. Barr; Tyler, Bro. F. W. do Kidder; D.C., Wor. Bro. Hornblow. Wor. Bro. Berry was presented with a P.M. jewel by the Lodge. In the evening the local brethren g entertained visiting brethren and f their lady friends at a very enjoyable social. Musical and elocutionary items, interspersed with dancing, win Jed away a very pleasant time.
