FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT.
Dunedin, May 2
A ."lux-kiii” trap accident is roported from Queenstown. A party wore proceeding yosloiday to Arrowtown via Arthur’s Point, when on the stoop incline to (ho bridge the horse got out of hand, and the occupants were thrown against the stone parapet. Mr J. 11. Wear, a single man, belonging; to Christchurch, was hilled, and Mrs Wear had both anas fractured. Mr and Mis E. Penrose, of Wellington, were also seriously injured, and Mr 1C Foote, of Dunedin, received bruises and slight concussion. The injured were removed to Frankton Hospital, and are progressing as well as can be expected.
