ALLEGED MURDER.
AT FRANKTON JUNCTION HOTEL. ACCUSED BEFORE THE COURT. Ha mi It on, Yesl erda y. In the Magistrate's Court this morning, before Mr Rdwson, S.M., David Morgan Heckle, alias Morgan, a one-armed man; was charged that, on or about Kith April, 191/, at Hamilton, he did murder Albert Ryan, who was found in an unconscious condition with a fractured skull at Hie Erankton Junction Hotel on Kith April, and died on the IHlh. Senior-Sergeant Cassells represented the police. The evidence was practically the same as given at the inquest. Cmler cross-examination, Drs Noonan and Douglas slated they Jim cl seen no signs of old wounds oy marked depressions in 1 lit: skull of Hie deceased. Dr. Dougins said the results which he had seen on the body of deceased might have been produced by falling out of bed or falling against a bedstead.
